The Hunger Games

One of my favorite books is now a movie. I loved how they kept it close to the original source. In the post apocalyptic ruins of what used to be America, the districts are divided into 12 factions. Because the factions were always at odds with one another the government made The Hunger Games a televised event in which each district will send in one girl and one boy from the ages of 12-17 to compete in a fight to the death tournament. I liked the book, once you get past the first fifty pages and get into the part where Katniss is in the games the story gets really good. I highly recommend people see it.
